About the AGM
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity to review the past year, share our audited financial statements, hear from our Board, and look ahead to the future of the Betty Mitchell Awards.
In accordance with the Alberta Societies Act:
We will present our audited financial statement, showing income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
The meeting will be held virtually on Zoom, which is permitted under Alberta’s legislation unless bylaws say otherwise.
Members attending electronically are considered present in person and may vote.
Who Can Attend & Vote
Members in good standing: May attend, speak, and vote.
Non-members: Welcome to attend as observers but cannot vote and may only speak if invited by the Chair.
